Open 'er Up!

Today the three of us attacked the remaining bits of drywall on the dividing wall.  Note the wires running through the middle of the studs.

Hmmmm - what's inside these boxes anyway?

These switches for the kitchen and dining room lights will be relocated to the short piece of wall that we are extending next to the planned location for the refrigerator.

The header board was most uncooperative and took a lot of cutting and prying to finally get it loose.  Again, note the wires running through the middle of the board.

Maybe I did leave Sharron and a bunch of wires hanging, but I needed a break!

Here are the new views from the hallway and dining room.

Those dangling wires will be spliced to move the boxes over to the short section of wall that we are extending.  Then we can patch the ceiling with some long, skinny strips of drywall.
