All four sister joists are now installed under the hallway, which is now ready for leveling and tiling.   The East wall of the kitchen has a bunch of spackling that is about ready for sanding, so Amanda can roll the wall.  I did some trim touch-up painting in the powder room and reinstalled the toilet tank so we have a semi-functional room now.

The pull bars for the dining room drawers arrived a day early, and Amanda and I got them installed.  Note the fancy 1/4" plywood with the cheery snowman and friends on the table cloth that we put on top of the cabinets.  We're wondering if we really need that heavy granite counter top after all.   Stay tuned!
